Visiting The Barn at Locke Vineyards

Welcome to Locke Vineyards, a family-owned winery and working vineyard nestled in the Sierra Foothills. We are honored to share five generations of California farming with our guests and strive to create a welcoming, relaxed, and memorable experience for everyone who visits.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the following information and policies before your visit.

Check-In

All guests must check in inside The Barn upon arrival before being seated or beginning their experience.

Wine Experiences

We offer a variety of experiences throughout the year, including:

  • Seated Wine Tastings
  • Wine by the Glass
  • Monthly Elevated Flight Experiences
  • Seasonal Farmhouse Workshops

Experience availability varies by season and weekend.

Onsite Wine Offerings

Wine tastings are intended for one guest.

Guests participating in wine tastings or purchasing wine must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID upon request.

We reserve the right to refuse wine service to anyone who appears intoxicated or whose behavior may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.

  • $24 per individual flight pre-selected. (2) bottles to go waives (1) flight

*Onsite service of wine bottles does not waive tasting flights.

Members receive complimentary wine tasting flights plus (4) guest complimentary.

To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all guests, groups of six (6) or more are accepted by reservation only.

Large walk-in groups will not be accommodated.

Reservations may be limited based on staffing, seating availability, and scheduled events.

Locke Vineyards reserves the right to decline group reservations that cannot be accommodated.

Visit our events page to view our monthly experiences of Elevated Flights and Farmhouse Workshops. All require pre-booking online.

Guest Policies

Outside food is not permitted anywhere on the Locke Vineyards property.

This policy includes picnics, snacks, meals, catered food, desserts, and coolers.

Guests are invited to enjoy the food, provisions, and seasonal offerings available for purchase from our Farmhouse Shop.

Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited per CA state law and may not be brought onto or consumed anywhere on the property.

Personal photography is encouraged.

Please be respectful of other guests while taking photos.

Commercial photography, professional photo sessions, and drone use require prior approval.

Locke Vineyards & Farmhouse is a smoke-free, e-cigarette and vapor-free site. All use of tobacco, cannabis, and vapor products are strictly prohibited throughout our property (including parking lot) per CA law while serving alcohol. Plan according.

Families are welcome at Locke Vineyards.

Children must remain under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. Running, climbing on furniture, entering vineyard rows, playing near winery equipment, or disturbing other guests is not permitted.

As an active agricultural property, guest safety is our highest priority.

No persons under 21 years of age is allowed to smell, touch, taste, or purchase wine on site at The Barn at Locke per CA state laws.

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome in our outdoor guest areas.

Dogs must remain under their owner's control at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.

Guest parking is available in designated parking areas only.

Oversized vehicles, buses, RVs, trailers, and limousines require advance approval and may not be accommodated during busy weekends or special events.

Locke Vineyards is an active farm and winery.

For your safety:

  • Stay within designated guest areas.
  • Do not enter vineyard rows or production areas.
  • Do not climb on equipment, fences, landscaping, or vineyard trellises.
  • Follow all posted signs and staff instructions.

Agricultural equipment may be operating during your visit.

We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Guests who are disruptive, abusive, intoxicated, threatening, or unwilling to follow winery policies may be refused service and asked to leave the property without refund.

Locke Vineyards reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to winery property resulting from negligent or inappropriate behavior.

Locke Vineyards reserves the right to refuse service or admission to any guest who violates winery policies or whose conduct poses a safety risk or disrupts the experience of other guests.
